NEED HELP CONCERNING IMAGE DOWNLOAD!?

story goes like this:

In the past, like one month before, i could download pictures from my camera ( canon powershot A470 ) now, i tried to download again some of the new pictures but the computer says--"Microsoft Office Document Scanning does not support this type of device" , how did that happen ?

.i need to download the pictures now , so that i could delete them after and have more memory to take pics for a concert tomorrow:D


I went to control panel & found out that there was no record of canon manufacturer , some of them was nikon, kodak..etc.
Does that have something to do with it..

There should be a way to access the memory of your camera like you access a hard disk in your PC. If you connect it though a USB cable it would be probably available in my computer as a hard disk (a mass storage device).

If You can access like this and then locate the folder which contains the images. It's not a big deal. Should be simple.
