The crf150f is a trail bike and a basic one. Good for learning on and for those up to around 5' 4 to 5'5 at best. The race version is the crf150r and that is a powerful little bike. The problem with asking on here is that everyone has an opinion on brands and die hard honda riders will say honda are best and the same goes for those who ride other brands. You also want a bike cheap which will govern just what you can get as powerful bikes cost. You are really better off just starting to look for bikes in the price range you have and see what is available. You also still have not stated just what experience you have on a bike so getting one that is powerful may not be all that great an idea. But basically any of the known brand bikes that are in good condition will be okay you just have to decide just what sort. If you are after a 4 stroke 250f they are all good. My son has been racing the crf250r for a few years and it has been great. He also had a crf150r and that was a great little bike and a cr125 which probably would not be my choice out of the 2 stroke 125cc bikes. But just start doing some research yourself.
