I got an HP-50G calculator and wanted to write application programs using math formulas, choose boxes and some graphics. I thought that the expense meant a large memory capable of handling the mathematical and GUI environment. I was wrong. I spent a considerable of amount of time deciphering HP's worthless manuals in order to enable myself to write some programs. Too make a long story short, the calculator completely let me down. I need to be able to write applications. But, I'm new to programming. I've had a basic course in LabVIEW, MulitSIM, C++ and Microsoft Office. I think, Visual Basic might be the avenue to pursue. I've looked at Visual Studio. That seems to be an interface for VB, but I'm not sure. Being able to use Microsoft Office applications, MultiSIM and LabVIEW together would be great given the correct application programming environment. Does anybody know what that might be?
