need help about fish ASAP?

my fish keep dying but i don't know why could anyone help me? on their fins it is all split at the ends and on my siamese fighter has started 2 turn like a white colour on it back and it is blue does any1 know y?
 
My naighbour had this problem when he first got his fish...turned out that he was over feeding them. This sounds stupid I know but apparently there is something in the food which releases into the water and kills them. The pump is usually able to filter out this bad stuff but if you are over feeding them then the pump may be over worked. Not sure how to tell if you are over feeding them though as I don't have fish myself. Mabie the link that other guy gave might help. Hope I helped.
 
if you live in the uk take a sample of your water to either a big pet shop or aquarium - some offer free testing of your water or charge a small fee.
get a treatment for your water - if one fish is ill it will very quickly affect all the other fish too.
