my car has a serious misfire problem. I had this in the past and once my car stopped starting i had my coils checked and replaced them and the car worked perfect after that. then my ignition coil housing burnt out and it started misfiring again so i replaced that and it worked perfectly once again. my spark plugs and wires are only a few months old so i know that can't be it. i looked at my ignition coil housing and it looks a little bit worn or burnt but is that even possible? its only maybe 2 months old. the grand am runs off a distributor-less engine so my ignition control module sets the igntion timing. If that module went bad could that cause this?
It was running a little slow but then it would kick in after awhile and it was fine but it has completely given now and it won't kick in wat so ever now. PLEASE HELP!!!

P.S.
please keep all your "get a new car" remarks to yourself. Im a 19 year old student i can't even imagine having the money for a new car. thank you

check the ground for the coil pack, they can get corroded and the coils loose thier ground. take the coil pack off and clean/brush the crud away from both the coils and the engine where they bolt on.

ive had that issue with 2 different gm v6s
