Need guidance for Florida / Miami / Orlando (Disney) Trip?

Hi,
I live in chicago and planning to visit with my family to Florida for 4-5 days.
Please suggest me what are the best places, which we should not miss to see..
Where we can get the good price hotels.
Do we need to take the rental car
Or any other guidance will really help us to make this trip enjoyful.
