Gyros' can be added to most bmx's, just check that the frame has 'removeable gyro tabs' on the head-tube. A bike desn't necessarily need to come with a gyro, but always ask if it has these removeable tabs, so you can add a gyro to it. But that's if you really want to run a gyro.
If you don't want to run a gyro, the only way to get around this cable problem, is to only run front brakes, where the cable runs through the stem and down the steerer tube of the forks.
Brakeless riding is only for people who use their bike ONLY for riding AT the park or their usual riding spot, NOT for people who use their bike for transport to school or whatever... ur just asking for a bad accident to happen.
