i want to paint a design on my ceiling
does anyone know where i can buy good painting supplies for my painting
please

How big is the ceiling, and how big is your design. It depends on how much you would use the paint to cover the area. If it's big, then buy the smallest paint cans with different colors. It's more economical this way to paint big area.

If you just have a small design, just go to a local art/craft store to buy some acrylic paint.
