need an app for iphone similar to old Palm Zire 72?

Ive used a palm pilot for many years and love it. I synced to Palm Desktop, not outlook. I now need to transfer everything to my iphone 4. But cannot find a similar app. I want to be able to sync info from my laptop to the iphone and vice versa, same way as with my palm zire. I want to be able to input information on my laptop also, just like as the palm desktop version. then sync to iphone. thank you
