Need advice on purchase.

I'm a student living in residence, and recently decided to get a palm pilot to help with notes, homework, and organization. Of course, being a student I have very limited cash, so I'm interested in buying a second hand palm pilot. I have a friend that's willing to sell me a Tungsten T1 for $175 CND ($150 USD at current conversion rates). Is this a worthwhile buy? From what I've researched it seems to me that it could do everything that I would want it to do, and it's the lowest price I've found so far.

Many thanks,
Johannes P.

Go spend another $25 bucks for a new Tungsten E in the long and short term you'll be happier. The T uses the oldest version of the Palm OS and the device is nearly 2 year's old. The screen wasn't all that great and I think $175 is too much for the device.

Unless you need or want Bluetooth functionality, which is strictly a battery drain, I stick with the E.
