i just recently gotten a 2000 ford explorer and b4 i got it it was sitting for a long time..so it drives good but when i turn it on the engine light comes on and the truck cuts off ..but for me to keep it on i would have to give it gas...and Just drive ..but when i stop it wud cut off when i shift gears..but i took it to auto zone and they did a engine diagnostic test which said i needed a Vehicle Speed Sensor or idle Speed Sensor ..i Just want to know if this is correct and i will buy the sensor but can some1 tell me how to put it in..or shud i take it to a mechanic becuz im 17 and is in the process of learnin about cars...he said jus pay some1 15 bucks to put it in
