Need advice on a few things for my 1993 Toyota Corolla?

There are two things I need help with.

1. The radiator - the other day I was driving and all of a sudden my engine stopped (was pulling into a parking lot so it was ok). I lifted up the hood and sure enough, my radiator cracked. From what I could see, it looked like all that happened was the top plastic part where the cap is has a crack in it so I'm guessing all the fluid expelled through it. What I want to know is, can this crack be repaired since it seems to be the only thing that happened, or will the entire radiator have to be replaced?

2. The trunk lock - as I went to open the trunk with my key, there was a pop kind of sound and I couldn't open the trunk. I tried to turn the key but it wouldn't turn anymore in either direction (the lock is stuck in a horizontal position). I tried to pop the trunk open with the lever in the car but nothing happened. I don't think it's possible for me to access the trunk from inside because the back seat looks unremoveable. I'm guessing some part of the locking mechanism broke/fell off or something. What I want to know is - can a locksmith somehow open up the trunk without damaging the lock to the point that I'd have to get a new one? If I try to do this on my own, how can I get the trunk open? Furthermore, whether I get the trunk open or not, if I want to install a new lock, how would I go about doing it?

As much advice as possible will be greatly appreciated!
