Need advice from parents that put their infants on their bikes?

So I want to get a bike and put a child seat on it for my daughter. She is 7 months old.

At first I wanted her in the front so I could see her and she wouldn't have to stare at my butt the whole ride.
Then I thought that if she were in back that my body would provide some shade for her from the sun.
Then I started thinking a trailer would be better so she can have toys and whatnot...

Uggghhhhh..... I can't decide, but I know I can't spend much so I have been checking out craigslist.

Can you offer any help, wisdon, or advice? Thank you sooooo much!
 
Bike trailers are awesome. They provide shade and you can bring the baby's favorite stuff and diapers and things in the trailer. This also provides a comfy place in case you baby gets tired during the ride. Plus if it rains the baby won't get wet directly.
