I've never owned or used a web cam. Just need to be able to take some pix of myself and I've heard that with a web cam you can see yourself while you take the picture. Tried doing it with a camera in the bathroom and it's too much trouble to mess with. Thought I might like doing it this way better. I hate to have my picture taken and so I want to control the situation and see myself while I'm doing it. So, I've read that some of them look washed out and terrible. Others do better. So which would be good for this particular purpose, and do they all allow you to see yourself while you're taking the picture? Also, can you freeze frame a video and capture a still picture that way as well? Thanks for the information!
Need advice for reasonably priced web cam that will take good quality still photo?
