Need advice for an E65 order placed with CellHut!

So I ordered an E65 last Wednesday from Cellhut while it was on sale. I payed with paypal, everything went smoothly up until this point. The next day, I received notification that my order was shipped via UPS.My order status said "shipped" and I was given a tracking number which said only "billing info received." The phone was scheduled to arrive on Monday the 26th, so when it didn't arrive I checked the tracking number and of course it STILL said "billing info received"

So I called them up, and they said that the E65 was out of stock when I placed the order, EVEN THOUGH it said IN STOCK when I ordered it. They said they were expecting more in on Tuesday and it would ship out that day and the tracking number would be updated. Well it's 2 days later, and still nothing.

Question: If I request a refund, will I be able to get my paypal money back today (I payed with funds already in my account) or will it take 3-5 business days? I'm fed up with CellHut! I have to use my paypal $$ to purchase a new phone since this is the $$ I have alotted to phone purchasing. Anybody have any experience or advice with this? Please help!?

thanks!

wohoo just called and *****ed them out, theyre shipping out the "last E65" to me today via overnight should be here tomorrow

I'll let you guys know whether it's made in Finland or not...

by the way how much was the sale price???? and when they say "their last" e65.. that probably means returned item... :|

Don't be surprised if you get a Nokir... JK

im just messin with your bro... im sure it'll be cool! Well at least let me know how the phone is.. i'm looking to buy a nokia e65 in the very near future or nokia n76...

ouch, that's horrible! I'll def let you guys know how it is. This is basically my idea phone except for lack of QWERTY...I hope I don;t miss qwerty too much though, might have to go back to the E61 until the e61i comes out if that's the case :-/....only thing keeping me from going back to my old E61 was the lack of some of those sweet standby apps and the horrrrrible joystick (dont suppose anyone came up with a fix for that?)

When you pay through Paypal, always use your credit card and not your bank account. In most cases, Paypal takes a very long time and you'll only get $175 ($200-$25 fee). If you use your cc, you can always contact them and file a fraud dispute. Your cc will always give you the full refund. This happened to me when I bought a phone and used my Amex.

Whenever possible, use your cc to pay through Paypal otherwise they will sit on their @ss and make you wait for 30 days or so. With your cc, if you tell paypal you are going to file a fraud claim they have no choice but to deal with the cc company and issue a full refund.

alrighty sorry for the delay, been busy all day. So about the E65. It says "Made by Nokia" and then there is another sticker that says something about Singapore under the battery, so I'm assuming it's not Made in Finland. Either way, doesnt matter, cause this phone is awesome!

Tyrone: I think you were right about getting a returned phone. The screen protector had clearly been taken off and put back on since it had all this "fuzz" under it. It started to come off, so I had to take it off altogether. I'm really worried about scratching the screen (especially for resale...it's inevitable ) so I wanna buy a nice screen protector that wont "bubble" up, etc. any ideas? Other than that, the phone was in impeccable condition so I didn't really mind that it may have been/probably was a return.

as far as the phone itself, all I can say is DAMN this thing is sweet. SO much power packed into a phone that was even smaller than I was imagining. It's honestly almost as small as my old RAZR in all dimensions. The new added active standby plugins are really useful. The WLAN works better than on my old E70-2 which would very often restart itself randomly when checking email, etc via the WLAN. Symbian on the E65 is also much faster than the e70-2 in every area, on average. I havent uploaded any pics yet so can't comment.

For those worried about the moccha brown color, its basically black unless in direct light which shows the hint of brown, it's beautiful, especially with the mock leather back. Other than this I can't comment too much since I havent had much time to play with the phone. The slider is amazingly smooth and crisp btw.

One thing I dislike is that the predictive text edit button (the one with the pencil) is on the side of the phone and somewhat hard to press...bummer. The added buttons on the face though are actually pretty useful, even though I'll probably never use the conference call button. Oh and the new D-pad is sweet, much easier on the thumb compared to my old E61 (much!) and still preferably to the, in my opinion, great joystick on the E70-2.

let me know if you guys have any questions/requests otherwise?

thanks!
