Need a seat for a C50

Help... I am watching beautiful days go by becasue my 2005 C50 seat is across the country being modifiied... maybe 3 weeks to go...? Does ANYone have their old C50 seat..... maybe the Volusia seat would also do....that they would part with reasonable and fast ? Tried Ebay and Craiglist.... Annie
 
I actually didnt buy one after all.

I looked on Craiglist, Ebay, local paper, here. Found some on listed Ebay but if you really looked at the pics, they were either torn or missing mounting pads, etc...thank goodness the posters had the honesty to photo them showing the defects. I also asked my dealer for a spare but he said none avail. Someone from here (in Little Rock) offered me one the other day...but I turned it down because this very sweet guy who is doing my seat mod said he would send it back pronto...and so I am epecting it shortly. Mine will be back before I could receive any ordered spare from Little Rock. And my hubby is on a trip so I started riding his VTX1300... so I am getting my riding fix.... :-)

I bought a saddlebag on Craiglist locally....turned out to have the wrong engine guards and the guy dissapeared on me.... but the bags are just ok.... since I had to buy engine guards I ended up spending as much as a new set. Bought my second set of saddlebags from OEM. had problems there too... LOL.... Good luck.

if you are OK with willie and max saddlebags, I suggest buying direct from them.... I did this. I first bought a pair of W&M for 125 on craiglist locally.. and they werent the exact look I wanted and they hang a bit funny (inner stiffeners are worn out). Bought second pair from Wilie and MAx (on a sale page) were only about 40$ more than that and exactly the look I wanted. They are new..look great...and IMHO worth it over taking a big chance on Ebay. Oh...but dont get the zip off kind .... my zipper died in the first week and I am having it replaced locally.
 
I guess my problem is my right bag is brand new and in perfect shape. Do you have any pics of your bike with the new bags on it? I'd lke to see what it looks like.

The bag removing zipper opened up in reverse :-( about 2 days after putting them on... and I took them immediatey to a shop for repair...so I dont have a pic. But this pic might give you the general idea?

When I get 'em back in a few days, i will post a pic....
