need a really good manga where people are constantly in life/death situations?

i want a manga where its kind of dark and edgy and people a liable to be killed the fuck off, no matter who they are in the storyline. i iwould prefer if it had some school life and a bit of romance in it.

i've already read Gantz, Berserk, HSOTD, houzuki island and parasyte.
i knew i should have said no death note. death note is not what im looking for.
