Need a phone for college

Right now I have a V220, but I'm due for an upgrade in August right before I head off to Colorado for college. My carrier is Cingular, if that helps any. What I'm looking for in a phone is:Not too bigSIM card compatibleDecent, but not nessarily excellent cameraKinda rugged, I'll probably drop it a few times and suchDecent sized screenGood battery lifeGood VolumeUSB port to hook up to the computer
Aside from that, I don't much care. Bluetooth I don't think I'd use, I don't use the internet from my phone, and I don't play games on it either. I've been looking at a razr, as thats what my dad and sister have, but I don't really know what all is out there. Any help or suggestions are apperciated.
 
Well the phone I would recommend the ever so popular Razr V3 or the upcoming V3i.

Very slim but comfortable to talk on
Uses Sim Cards
VGA on V3 and 1.3mp on V3i (average camera phone quality)
Very durable. I have dropped my V3i several times on the tiled floor and accidently have it fly across the room when it went flying outta my pocket and all it has to show for all those occasions is 2 barely noticable scratchs on the back
2.2" Internal Screen (Really big for a cell phone)
Lasts about 2 days without a charge with about 2 hours of talk time
Volume could be better but its better then alot of the Samsungs I have had
USB Port...


Haha I just typed all that and then I read the last line that said you were looking at the Razr cause people you know have it. But the point is its a excellent phone!

You can get the V3i and have the itunes, expandable memory, and better camera with improved design.

There is also the Slvr L7. Which has every thing your looking for besides the fact is not a flip and only has a 1.9" Screen. But it is also very durable, its dropped out of my coat pocket plenty of times and no scratchs yet...
