Need a New Unlocked Phone From AT&T?

I'm looking to purchase a brand new unlocked phone that works with AT&T. I already have a contract and am not eligible for an upgrade so I need to purchase an unlocked phone. I'm looking for a good phone for texting or a nice touch screen. Either way I dont want to go over $300 for this phone. The sites I trust buying from are: Newegg.com and Amazon.com
I dont usually buy from E-Bay but I will if anyone finds a good unlocked phone on there.

You can get some good deals on refurbished iPhone models from Amazon or Ebay. Some people sell temporary unlocked iPhone models for more cost. Such iPhone models would get re locked on future iOS updates and it has to be unlocked again resulting in more expense. Instead you can get a network locked iPhone at low cost and unlock it yourself safer permanently.
