Planning on wiring the system to use the ground wire from my vehicle's dome light, so that the LED strips only come on when the car is unlocked, or a door is opened. (I'm also wiring in an override switch to a permanent ground, but that's beside the point.)
The only kits I've been able to find is one made by LEDGlow, and it forgets its setting after the car is turned off and power is lost. I need the system to remember to glow orange whenever it's powered on.
Points will be given for first working answer, supported by proof that the system does remember its color after power has been turned off. Thanks!
