...Droid? (Questions all over page)? I need help with understanding clear steps on how to choose the right phone for VERIZON...
Here's the thing....
I have T-MOBILE and it sucks! The reception is horrible, they send me messages and charge me, they charge me for things that i haven't even touched once. Its just a horrible service!
I am switching to VERIZON within this week and i need your advice on how to START VERIZON.
I am interested into the MOTOROLA DROID and some questions that still goes out to you guys...
1. Is the main purpose the the DROID (smart-phone), to use internet, and business-related OR can i just basically buy it because i'm in need of a phone that can CALL and GPS?
The fact remains that i am not so interested in the internet, and such on what the DROID has to offer, but I am considering buying the DROID because it seems like a nice way to put everything together, the calls, the GPS, etc all in one.
Is it strange to buy the DROID when you really have no interest in the internet, and all the extra features you have to pay for?
What i want in my phone is:
-Text Messaging Capability
-GPS (i'm pretty sure that this feature is free?)
-Calling Capability
-Facebook & Twitter (What do i need for this? Is this part of the internet?)

I'm assuming the price is $149 for 2 year contract or what?
