I was given my Grandpa's M1 and a Winchester .22. I have several boxes of ammo that came with the M1. Some say Army Tracers on the boxes written by him. Doing a little research I think they are. They are marked with what looks like Red locktight on the tip and on the primer. Just looking for someone who has more info on something like this. I have never owned a gun and would like to try it out but not sure if these rounds would be safe of legal to use. He also wrote 1968 on one and 1969 on another. Any info would be helpful to me . Thanks.
