Pay it off if you can afford it. You will be paying more interest on the card than you wil be recieving on your savings (probably unless you have a 0% interest card). The important thing is tough that you dont run the debt back up again which is my tendency.

I owe £270.00 on my credit card bill which isn't much however, I don't make a whole lot once a month. On average £1,000 of which I spend:

£250.00 for rent
£130.00 for food
£70.00 for bus
£50.00 for other bills gas, electric, telephone etc
and I put £150.00 away in my savings account so that leaves me with roughly £ 400 to spend per month.

Having said that should I just pay off the credit card bill in full this month or just pay £150.00 which will leave me with £ 250.00 for the month which is fine for me as I don't spend too much (now). I used to in the past.

Suffer for one month and pay it off - why should they get extra from you if you can pay it -
