Nessie,

Man, I've had it today. Have to lie down all day so sick. Took Pepto and hasn't helped.
Haven't a clue what brought it on today when other days I'm ok. Maybe nerves with the storm that came our way and A/C out? I know my nerves have a lot to do with my stomach. I wouldn't say it's one of my worst symptoms but sure not a pleasant one. Try to eat saltines early to make it go away but so sick, I eat and have to lie back down! No throwing up. Just the churning, yuck feeling. Going back to bed! Been this way for last several days.

I just found out this morning that I have this:( Nothing to be happy about. I feel just like you actually. No throwing up, just that nausea feeling. I'm trying to cut back on a lot of fooRAB which is really hard for be considering my diet consists of all oily fast fooRAB. I have a lot of trouble sleeping at night. I've had to sleep on the couch in a semi-sitting position. It's really uncomfortable but I feel sick if I don't. What are your views on exercising?

I've had GERD for the past 4 years. And 5 months ago, I started to experience nausea in the pit of my stomach on top of heartburn in my chest and throat. I've been going through a lot of tests to determine whether the source of the nausea is coming from somewhere else, but everything keeps coming back to acid reflux. I've changed my diet a lot and have eliminated fatty fooRAB, alcohol, coffee, spicy fooRAB, most dairy products and anything else that seems to create excess acid. My diet has helped somewhat, but I still get nausea on and off. I exercise by doing floor exercises, stretching, yoga and running and that's always the best part of my day, because I've noticed that when I exercise I'm rarely nauseous or suffering from acid reflux.
