Anyone else notice a "planted" running gag accross many (sometimes all) NBC Thursday comedies? Last night, 30 Rock, Community, and Parks and Rec all had a noticeable rant about Canadian things. Last week, a few inserted Greek city names or puns (Dildopolis, anyone?). Weeks before, a focus was made on Pam's pink coat, and it mysteriously showed up on 30 Rock for absolutely no plot or joke reason, and so on. I noticed this "Common Thread" years ago when Michael Scott waffle-ironed his foot, which then showed up on more shows (pretty noticeable). Now everyone I know seems to look for this weekly, yet there's NOTHING about this online! WHAT GIVES??? Anyone? Anyone????
