Nazi concentration camp medical experiments?

The Nazi using human guinea pigs from the war prisoners was wrong and immoral. However, such experiments may have produced great medical finds. I was wondering what great medical discoveries came about from these experients...break throughs in medicene, etc.... Please give any examples of such if you know of any....would these medical finds ever came about if the Nazi never used humans to experiment on?
 
I remember reading that they experimented with causing hypothermia in victims and how best to recover them afterward.

From these cruel experiments we now know more about hypothermia, the processes carried out within the body, and ways to aid patients.

I'm afraid I can't remember many specifics, but I'm sure the information is all out there on the internet.
