Navy Boot camp question.?

Go Navy

I feel like I am in exceptional physical condition and have an abundance of confidence, especially compared to some of these nukes I see walking around here (I live in Charleston, SC)..I know I will have no problem making it through boot camp but my question is should I push myself harder and rise above expectations..or will this just bring more attention that I don't want..Is there rewards or anything like that for good performance? Or should I just keep my head down and do the minimum? Is it possible to graduate ..say like at the head of your class? Or does everyone just simply graduate and receive the same as the next guy? Say I outperform "guy B" in every aspect..does this matter? Will it be noticed and acknowledged?

Thank you.

I think You have a better chance at special forces like SEALS the better in shape you are. Do your absolute best.

"Be a ghost" is good advice in Boot Camp. Except for the guys who get bumped up a paygrade how well one does in Boot Camp ceases to matter the moment you leave.

somewhere in the middle.. you DO NOT want to do just the minimum, but nor do you really want to stand out too much.

each RDC can promote up to ten percent one paygrade and it is NOT always the RPOC. (recruit Chief Petty Officer)

and the max is E3 period so if youare already going in as one.. you can;t get any higher. there are other awards given out, but they really don;t mean anything.
