...Eugenic Selection? Statistics (taken from NLSY) reflect a tendency towards inherited degeneracy. I don't think it's much of a stretch to assume that by restricting the proliferation of defective units, you would see a coinciding reduction in the incidence of those deficiencies, regardless of their initial cause. Why then, do we postpone action, debating ways to best distinguish features of heredity from those brought on by the environment...when all the while the resulting effects, and subsequent solution remain constant despite cause?
