Only for those up for some silliness. It's National Velociraptor
Awareness Day. What would be in your menu if you were to celebrate the
day? All I can think of:

1. Steak tartare
2. Rare steak (as rare as you can stand)
3. A sculpted velociraptor cake

Conservative tartare.

The Bible! Because all the works of science cannot equal the
wisdom of cattle-sacrificing primitives who thought every
animal species in the world lived within walking distance of
Noah's house.

Chicken or wild turkey (the bird, not the drink); the closest thing you'll
get to eating velociraptor. I'll have mine on a rotisserie, over hot coals.

Many years ago, I was in Mazatlan Mexico with a buddy. We went into a
bar that was frequented by locals. We each ordered a beer. Along
with the beer free of charge came two bowls of chicken soup with a
pile of tortillas. The soup was excellent, but it had chicken feet in
it. I didn't eat the chicken feet.

Thank you for clarifying that it's the bird you meant and not the drink.
I was about to check the mini-bar.

Chicken feet - not that bad. We used to eat them as kids when we went
to the local carnival. They were marinated in BBQ sauce and grilled.
No meat in them, but they were chewy and flavorful. ;)

Never thought about using them for stock but makes sense! Can't say
that I can't keep the thought of raw chicken feet flopping around out of
my head, though - and it's not really appetizing.
