Ok so my hubby is in the National Guard and he wants to go Active Army we have heard it is pretty hard to do that most the time the ur unit will not release u. The only loop hole is that he is currently deployed to Iraq till Feb. and some1 said that when he demoblizies or up to 6 months before that, he could then sign up for active army thus eliminating MEPS. He has talked to everyone he can over there and they all really dont no anything but they r also with the guard so they dont wanna give him much info. Anybody wil any info plz lemme no!!!
