I know there have been numerous posts regarding hard saddle bags but I still cannot find an answer to my question. I would like to purchase a set of hardbags over winter but I'm still snafud over what to get.
Has anyone in this forum installed a good quality painted hardbag on their C50
I have seen Natinal Cycle's and others on the internet but can't tell what they will look like or how practical they are on my bike.
If you have please let me know what you recommend and can you post pics?
I would greatly appreciate all your input.

check out the stuff on this site.. I just ordered a set of Strong Bags and the Touring Trunk.. for my VL1500 should be here in two weeks.. :D I'll post pics in the summer..
 
Several people on VolusiaRiders.com have those bags and love them. I think there is an upgraded hardware set (Locks or Hinges?) that they say is worth buying.
 
One thing I forgot to mention about the NC Hardbags is the mounts. They are good with stock pipes but is you have aftermarket pipes the bags look too high and out too far. I just put Roadhouse 2-1 on my bike and I am having the mounts modded to drop the bags lower and pull them in to the bike more.
