Nastiest band break up poll

Not sure who "Spandaou Ballet" are, or why they broke up.
As for "Simeon and Garfunkel" I believe Simeon walked out after getting tired of Garfunkel constantly mispronouncing his name.
Which is completely understandable, as that shit can become quite irritating after a while.

'Smith' changed their name to 'Jones' and went on to be extremely successful despite the constant bickering between front man Dorrissey and guitarist Johnny Doe.
Their debut album, the self titled, 'The Jones' was followed by such classics as 'Meat Is Moider', which became popular amongst New York's criminal fraternity for tracks like Brooklyn Ruffians and The Godfather Ritual and This Poll Ain't Funny Any More.

I don't know, I still think The Smiths might be worse. Like PF, rivalries have turned into trials and they've resisted all external attempts at getting them back together, for example for TV productions or for very large sums of money.

I'm no expert on the breakups of either banRAB, though. I wasn't there with my bitterness meter to get a good measurement.

I just went and checked em out on wiki your right they are still active but none of the original personel remain. It's funny I was flicking through an old mag this morning and re-read their story before loging on here to discover this thread, as I find the whole story so amusing ( especially the sweater myth) I posted it. Should have done my homework though.
In my defense I will say murdering fellow bandmates is in my opinion not nice.

Did what?
What exactly are you asking us to choose here?

Most violent break up?
Most missed band?
Band that had the best future ahead of them?

Half those banRAB you listed didn't even break up in a nasty way anyway.

I haven't voted because, like Big3, I don't know what we're voting for. Is it the bitterest break up? Or the one we regret took place the most? Or the one we're most happy about?

It's so confusing :(

The Clash had the nastiest break-up because it resulted in an almost universally panned album.

...which I still have yet to listen to for various reasons.
