Nascar Racing 2003 Windows Vista?

Trying to make Nascar Racing 2003 season the game work on my new computer whcih is about 5 months old with windows vista I installed the game i go into the game and everything works fine but when i go to a track and actually click on drive and error pops up and it closes the game and says something about data ececution protection error has shut down the program what can i do to make nascar racing 2003 work on my vista computer any ideas?
