NASCAR Homestead Ford 400 start time?

NASCAR website says the broadcast starts at 4pm EST, and yahoo race analysis starts at 3:45.

Is this when the race starts or just the beginning of the television segment? I hate watching those guys talk for an hour before the green flag drops. =\
 
My TV programming guide should help you. It says that NASCAR Countdown starts at 3:00 PM and then the actual race coverage starts at 3:45 which means a green flag around 4 PM. Hope this helps!
