1. Anything can happen like no hitter, perfect game etc... in the NBA same thing over and over lots of dunks, free throws 3 pointers same boring thing.
2. Defense is much better and exciting in MLB you have diving catches, robbing a homerun and outfield assists are great and in the NBA if you block someone they call it a foul or goal tending WTF is that.
3. Baseball is outdoors beautiful scenary in the stadium all stadiums are different and in the NBA its indoors and every court is the same.

1. The fact that it moves slower builds up the suspense. I actually like not knowing if my team is going to score another run in the next 20 minutes. Whereas in basketball, you know your team is probably going to score 30 points in the next 20 minutes.
2. It's played outside. I've never liked watching sports inside of an arena. Being outside in the fresh air is all a part of the experience.
3. It's unpredictable. A pitcher can throw a no hitter one day and give up six runs the next...a player can get two homers in one game and then not get another one for the next three months. Basketball just seems more predictable to me. If a player is doing well in one game, it's likely he will in the next.
