In Florida on the shoreline, right where the water runs over the sand there, the sand bubbles indicating a living creature under the sand. Seagulls (or some other little bird) pick up on this and run over to the hole, dodging the incoming waves, and eat them. They are clear, transparent looking bugs, are quite tiny,like the size of a raisin, and live in the sand.
