So it’s an Asian romance/comedy which I watched several years ago. It tells the story of a guy who meets a girl, how they date, and eventually break up. Details are:
When he first meets her they pass through each other like water, as they initially didn’t notice each other.
On one of the first dates the girl asks him if there is anything different about her, and he treats it like a “spot-the-difference” game, with the screen split in half and almost identical pictures of the girl on both sides. He fails, but she reveals that she has cut her hair, after which we see that she has cut no more than 10cm off the end.
After they break up he goes into semi-depression, and the movie shows this by him sitting in a prison cell, and every day the warden brings him a choice of either food or booze, and he continuously chooses booze, and smashes the bottle on the ground. Finally when he is ready to take the food he begins to dig his way out of the prison cell with the spoon.
She’s a collector of bottles, and there is a certain bottle that she can’t find, but after they break up and he gets over her, the guy gives her that bottle, leaving her thinking about him again, and she goes into a prison cell next to the one he used to be in, which is now overgrown with vines.
