Name of the cave man/high school film

Does anyone remember the high school comedy where the two unpopular guys find a frozen cave man and he makes them popular at school?
It was on channel 5 or sci fi channel recently, its quite old, i swear the guy in it is sean astin

Yep, that is def Sean Astin and it is one of Brendan Fraser's first films. When i watched it recently I couldnt believe how annoying Pauly Shore was.
