Name of sites where I can voice chat with people?

Ok so im now into chatting online and all and i wanted to know which are da best sites to go on for voice chating?I heard Skype was one.But i dont have any friends online but i wanna make friends on a site(preferably a voice chatting site).So how do i do that.I mean do i send a friend invite or do i see people all over the site and i can just pick anyone i like.Sorry for the dumb Q but im new.
 
IMVU has a new voicehat option,plus an ever-growing community of all sorts of different people.You can try that out :)
