Name of screen brightness preference file?

I need to know the name of the preference file that's responsible for the brightness of the screen. Anyone know what this is? I have a T3.

Actually, it may not be the brightness file. My problem is when I click on the clock in the blue "button/launch" bar (I don't know the name) my T3 freezes. I need to soft reset it to get it working but it continues anytime I tap the clock.

I think PowerOn is the culprit. It provides configuration of the brightness level, dimming effect, and shutting down the screen.

I used UninstallManager to remove PowerOn, and delete all the deletable a68k files

So I'd like to try to delete any preference files associated with that part of the launch bar. Otherwise, I'll have to do a Hard reset.

Ok all of the Palm's preferences are stored in Saved_Preferences.prc. This is where all of the settings are kept. It also includes any settings that are acted upon by another program such as Power Run or other.

Now the bad news - all registration codes are typically stored in this same file. So if you delete it - you'll lose settings and stored registrations. It's virtually the same thing as a Hard Reset without actually cleaning out all of the other programs in the process.

What I might suggest - reinstall Power Run and then be certain to disable it before unistalling and perhaps you'll get back to normal without the other hassle. I'm not familiar enough with Power Run to know if there is such a "hook" of disabling the program but since it does allow programs to run from the SD card - there is definitely some residual stuff that might be hanging on after deletion?

Hence a good reason to use a program that performs backups to the SD card. I typically test a lot of Palm software and as such get resets that will "burp" the Saved_Preference file. A quick restore from the card and I'm back to 100%.....
