Name of futuristic racing game for Playstation One / PSX?

Can't remember the title of this game, can't find it anywhere.

Gameplay: Futuristic racing. I'm not sure if the cars/vessels were hovering or rolling. Sort of career based, upgrading of weapons, otherworldly/sci-fi style racetracks.

I know it wasn't Wipeout, Rollcage, Hi-Octane or any of the really well known ones.

Please help if you can, I'll take ANY suggestions!
 
i can almost guarantee it was n2o : nitrous oxide. i was just looking for the same game. i hope this helps.
