main character is policeman ex vietnam called harrison. boy gets murdered riding freight train.mother tries to find out what happened. it is all to do with drug gangs who wear coloured bandanna's and are run by ex tunnel king from Harrison's unit. also has undercover guy called the cub who is working in the caves looking for bin laden.
