name of author please!!! 100% sure the book is called "the face"?

a book called "the Face" about a teenage boy that moves to a new school and makes new friends and then another mysterious boy comes in to the picture and things start becoming weird, the boy lives in a room in an amusement park and im pretty sure he's dead, and he becomes "the face" of the amusement park. Im pretty sure the cover of the book is a picture of lunar park on it. I read this book at school and would like to get a copy of it but i cant find it any where, it would help if someone knew the name of the author
it's not dean koontz book either, thats called the face of fear and its not about teenagers
