name of a mame arcade game?

i remember years go i used to go to the caravan with my mum and dad. in the caravan site there was an amusement arcade. there was a game i used to play all the time there, but i cant remember what it was called.

all i remember was there were penguins and ladders in the game. im pretty sure that the penguins would turn into monsters too.

i know its not much to go on. but i hope someone can tell me this game so i can download it and play it again.
