name of a children's' book about selling your dad?

Sometime in the last 5 or 8 years I found myself in a book store at Christmas time, and a children's book caught my eye, it was abut selling you dad. Told from the point of view of a child. It was lighthearted and whimsical, and foolishly I thought I would remember the title...can any one help me out here?
