I cannot recall this book title for the life of me x-x I remember the following:
It centered around a girl, and was written in diary form (I believe the girl had to write the diary for an english class, and while she complained about having to write it when it first starts out, she seemed to enjoy and even perhaps RELY on it later on.)
She worked at a fast food resteraunt (I -want- to say it was McDonald's or one of the popular ones, but I'm not entirely sure).
She had a younger brother (whose name I can't recall, apologies x-x; ).
And it's revealed her grandmother had been more of a mother to her than her own mother was, however, her grandmother had recently passed away. I think her grandmother also liked to knit things, but I'm not positive.
If any of you have any idea what this book could possibly be, it will be appreciated :3 I've been trying to google-search the title for about an hour and am IMMENSELY frustrated at this point.
Many thanks!
Read it in 8th grade, so that'd be about...5ish years ago?
I checked out both of the books you guys listed, neither were it ><
