it starts off where a girl wants a new doll like her friends for her birthday & her grandmother or someone send her an old fashioned one in the post. shes disappointed at first but then she discovers it starts talking. i think it had an old name like dora or something but im not sure. at the end some museum offers her a lot of mony for it cos its an antique but she says no
