Why buy OEM when aftermarket shocks are probably better, easier to find and much cheaper.
In fact if the truth were known those shocks on your Civic were probably made by one of the leading manufacturers anyway and Honda paid them to put their logo on them during manufacturing. You don't really think that Honda has a shock absorber factory do you. No, they buy them from a supplier and put their name on them.
