N95 vs Eten m700

I need a phone with built-in GPS and I've narrowed it down to the N95 and the Eten m700. I've had a QWERTY keyboard for a while on my PDA's, which is why the Eten seems better. I'm a heavy texter so typing off a numeric keypad is a def. DOWNGRADE, but I can live with it if its a better phone. I also like to use my camera phone, which is why the N95 would fit the bill with its 5MP camera. I've read the m700's camera is terrible. Also, I've had problems with WM devices in the past, they are buggy at times (m700 being real unreliable in particular, so Ive read). Also, the m700 is about 100-150 cheaper than the N95. But Im willing to spend a little more for something that will last longer.

NEED:
GPS
reliable
loud speaker/earpiece

WANTS:
QWERTY
High quality camera
Long battery life

Help!

I'd change the comparison to N95 VS E90. Since E90 is qwerty, still has Symbian OS and the camera is 3.2mp wit AF. BUT, if you wana jump into WM devices, I'd wait for the HTC Kaiser, has every possible feature known to man in it including a slideout/up QWERTY Keyboard.

The e90 is out of my price range. Im looking to spend max 675. The HTC Kaiser looks great, but I cant wait for unlocked versions of the phone to start comming down in price. Thanks for the reply though.

If thats the case, I'd get the N95. It has a GPS + 5mp camera with 30fps recording capability. M700 doesnt have that besides QWERTY keyboard.

I have both and I use the M700 more. I like the touch screen, the speed and also, the M700 actually gets better phone reception. The GPS is faster and with Google Maps for Mobile, which uses the GPS satellites, I have a great navigation program.

Yes, the camera sux, and if I travel and need a camera, I'd chose the N95 but for everyday usage, push email, etc- I really like the M700. No problems or bugs.

I actually purchased the N95. It will be arriving tomorrow. Since the M700 was around $100 cheaper than the N95, I figured I'd rather spend money on something that I would be more satisfied with and would last me. Windows Mobile has been pissing me off because as it exceeds as a PDA, its fails as a phone. I know I'll miss my QWERTY, but other than that and a SirfIII GPS chip and bettery battery life, I wont be missing much on the M700. Or at least I hope so. I'll find out for sure tomarrow!

yea youll definitely enjoy the move from WM to S60, much more stable

Ive tried windows mobile and I didnt like it at all, and ive heard of hangs and freezes and occasional restarts, not to mention the OS tweaking required to get some things the way you want, not something im comfortable with

but yes, in terms of your needs, the only thing the N95 doesnt have is a qwerty keyboard, but T9 isnt bad if you know how to use it, i was also considering the m700

i think you made the right choice, i just hope you know that for GPS you have to pay to get the premium services
