The plastic 3M (Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing) designed to wrap the rotor ends on heliocopters (to keep them from delaminating) is a great, non intrusive protection for all sorts of gadgets; iPods, cell phones, laptops, etc. The folks at ShieldZone have both a screen skin ($12 US) and a full body skin ($25 US) for the N95. Though they offer a lifetime replacement warranty, I find their prices over the top.
Best Skins Ever has the same material, precision cut, though without the lifetime replacement warranty or installation fluid (make your own), but at more reasonable prices. A full body cell phone skin from them is $7 US. I've wrapped three iPods, several cellphones, and a friend's MBP with the stuff. I cannot imagine what you would have to do to the device to warrant replacement of the skin. It is very tough, very clear stuff. Unfortunately, Best Skins Ever is still 2-3 weeks from having an N95 skin ready.
The only problem some folks seem to have with this plastic is the slight 'orange peel' effect the plastic has when held to the light at an acute angle. Looking straight on at the device or at any angle you would when actually using said device renders this a complete non issue.
In another thread, people were warning folks about cases designed to always be 'worn' by the phone; grit, etc. will make its way into the case and end scratching the phone into ruination. These full body wraps are worth their weight in gold here. For instance, I use a Speck case for my iPods. My buddy uses the same case. He didn't know about these skins and though his iPod is well protected form bumps and bruises, it got very scratched up over the course of a year of so. Mine still looks brand new.
